Hawkins Farm Market offers fresh local produce. The Farm Market features sweet corn, picked fresh daily from local farms, including McElhinney's in Evan's City. Large orders are welcome, but please call at least two days in advance for orders greater than 6-dozen.
Other seasonal favorites include local strawberries, blueberries, pears, nectarines, and the famous Chambersburg Peaches. Vegetables are available all summer long, such as tomatoes (field grown and hydroponic), peppers, cucumbers, potatoes, squash, onions, and more.
The autumn brings apples in over 20 varieties, along with advice in choosing the best for snaking, baking, and pies. Other fall favorites include cider, pumpkins for carving and baking, ornamental gourds, Indian corn, corn stalks and straw bales, for decorating your yard. And don't forget Fall Mums, grown here, at Quality Gardens!
